Welcome to my Land Rover series 3 build site. Spent the day scrapping the black paint off all the services that are galvanised, i.e. the front bumper, door capping, tub capping etc, lucky for me the previous owner had not bothered using primmer so the paint came off quite easy. I think the previous owner must have got the paint cheap because once you start looking he as painted a lot of the inside black, including the dash plastic bits. Not much else done as work as got in the way. Happy with yesterdays ...

Well I set off to go to Newbury this morning only to get 20 miles into my journey to see steam coming form the front, I pulled over and there was water every where. Well I collected the landie ,. I called the AA, and an hour latter I get towed off the motorway into PJM recovery depot, in Swanley, Kent. PJM wanted 170 plus VAT to tow me home. (I only had road side with the AA.). I phoned the AA again and because I was not in danger now they took another two hour to get to me. The AA had a look, and it started we went for a drive in it and no problems, So the AA Man kindly said he would follow me home,. I left my house at 8.45am and got home at 21.50hrs. Left to do,.
