Eddie & his Fur Brothers – littleandlife
https://littleandlife.wordpress.com/2016/07/18/eddie-his-fur-brothers
Eddie and his Fur Brothers. Before Eddie was born (5 weeks ago now – can’t believe it! My two little fur babies were leading a very contented life. They had their mum to themselves most days – with lots of cuddles, playtime and ear scratches. They could sleep and play more or less wherever they wanted, and the house was essentially theirs! Now, 5 weeks in, they are both “coping” with Eddie in different ways. Hendrix having a cautious sniff of the little man. He will happily walk past Eddie, completely bl...

11/30 First Ultrasound | isuzyou
https://isuzyou.wordpress.com/2015/11/18/1130-first-ultrasound
Our First ultrasound will be Monday November 30th at 9:15am. I will be almost 7 weeks (6 6). By this point we can expect to see a gestational sack and possibly a formed fetus. If not, a fetal pole. So far my HCG betas have been right on target. All three checks show a 49 hour doubling time. The doctors are looking for a 48-72 hour doubling time. 8221; Errrr…. Photography has been a hobby of mine since high school and I’m really happy with how they turned out! Here are a few of my favorites. We have a session booked with an actual newborn photographer this weekend and I can’t wait! More photos to come. 🙂. Three Weeks Old →. 3 thoughts on “ One Week Old Photo Shoot. Nothing is quite as it seems… – littleandlife
https://littleandlife.wordpress.com/2016/08/25/nothing-is-quite-as-it-seems
Nothing is quite as it seems…. Whenever I see anybody, they always say how well I seem, how I seem like a super confident mum, like someone who has got the hang of things. Well, nothing is quite as it seems…. I never thought that, at only 10 weeks after his birth, I’d feel so down. It is actually really hard to admit it, even on here. Sometimes it feels like I’m in a bubble and I just can’t get a breath. I don’t have time to calm myself or think logically – because caring for ...I shouted at my 10 week o...

The difference a year makes. – Meet the Hopefuls

Navigating the World of Infertility and IVF. The difference a year makes. November 2, 2016. Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays. Last year my teacher friends and I handmade the most adorable “three blind mice” costumes to wear for our costume parade at school. We planned them out months in advance, and got together in our off time to work on our creations. The costumes turned out to be adorable. We couldn’t wait to show them off at school. I hoped with every fiber of my being he would be.

Be Realistic : Plan for a Miracle. Our journey through IVF and beyond. Following the pre-IVF Rules. July 29, 2015. September 18, 2015. Today I thought I’d write a little bit about following the pre-IVF rules and diet that our consultant has set for us. It’s not too strict – but does take out the main things that I enjoy – and it’s not only for me but for my husband too! So our rules are:. I don’t smoke anyway, but my hubby does at parties and with his friends (or at least used to! Alcohol seems to be the...

Implications Counselling Session – Be Realistic : Plan for a Miracle
https://berealisticplanforamiracle.wordpress.com/2015/08/13/implications-counselling-session
Be Realistic : Plan for a Miracle. Our journey through IVF and beyond. August 13, 2015. September 18, 2015. Today was the day of the implications counselling session – something that we have to do as part of our IVF package. Essentially it was a two hour session where a lovely nurse took us through the whole IVF with ICSI procedure in detail, how to do my injections and signing TONNES of consent forms! I did accidentally stab myself in the wrong place first, and even that wasn’t too painful! Fill in your...

Holiday (aka packing nightmare!) – littleandlife
https://littleandlife.wordpress.com/2016/08/09/holiday-aka-packing-nightmare
Holiday (aka packing nightmare! We have recently been to the Lake District (a wonderful place in England full of mountains, lakes, forests, beautiful views, wonderful walks, icecream, scones and cream, nice beer, gorgeous pubs…. and no internet or mobile phone signal) for a holiday. Packing the car for a trip with a 6 week old baby was a NIGHTMARE! Below are the major items and my thought processes behind each one. Baby clothes – how many to take? Will it be hot? Will it be cold? And a bouncy chair with ...

Sleeping success! – littleandlife
https://littleandlife.wordpress.com/2016/07/14/sleeping-success
Eddie has been testing us, starting from sleeping in stints of only one or two hours a night in the first two weeks or so. Exhausting! We started to work out that breastfeeding in bed last thing at night seemed to fill his tummy enough to nod off (hooray! But then begins the careful process of removing him from said breast and getting him into his moses basket, which is next to the bed. Little pesky monkey…. is the polite version of what we were calling him at that point! After ranting at the health visi...
