Travelogue - Moments in Time. Travel and All Things Considered. Sunday, February 26, 2012. It has been beautiful in the desert lately. And, I have been fortunate to go out and enjoy the great spring like weather. These are some of the pictures I took during my evening walk today. I am constantly amazed at how such delicate flowers thrive in our harsh climate. Love the orange . Peek-a-boo with a Curve-billed Thrasher. Another shot of the beautiful blooms. A fitting end to a relaxing day. One of our favori...

Foreign/er: Goodbye Korea! Thank you
http://foreignerjoy.blogspot.com/2013/02/goodbye-korea-thank-you.html
Saturday, February 23, 2013. I'm into my final hours here in Korea and yes I'm excited to go and also sad at the same time. It's been a wonderful ride and I am grateful for it all. I think I have said everything I could about this transition and finally just want to say thank you to my readers and supporters. I know for sure my time in Korea would have been harder if I didn't have this blog and community. For all future updates on my life and adventures head over to the American-Joy blog. Unknown Tracks: Ant Walk with EcoEdu
http://unknowntracks.blogspot.com/2013/03/ant-walk-with-ecoedu.html
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference .Robert Frost. Wednesday, 6 March 2013. Ant Walk with EcoEdu. As if birds and butterflies were not confusing enough to learn about, I decided to join a walk about ants. So far I had learnt to recognise weaver ants and stay away from their sting. Each nest has its own defence mechanism and pattern. You will find fiery ants dispers...

Heather's Korea Blog: A good time to leave?
http://yearofkimchi.blogspot.com/2009/05/good-time-to-leave.html
My life in Busan. Monday, May 25, 2009. A good time to leave? I am a little nervous. Yesterday, North Korea tested a nuclear bomb that seems to be much larger than the one it initially tested in 2006. A few hours later, the country test-fired a handful of short-range missiles. This is unnerving even under the best of circumstances, but, keep in mind that North Korea has. All sorts of weapons aimed at the big cities of the South (I have been living in the 2nd largest). mostly photos.. and hardly frequent..: scotland trip - day 3
http://aithaalru.blogspot.com/2007/04/scotland-trip-day-3.html
Mostly photos. and hardly frequent. Friday, April 20, 2007. Scotland trip - day 3. Not too impressed, we exercised the cameras a bit and headed towards the main attraction of the day, the Edinburgh castle. Another beautiful drive, and we were there. This was worth the price with the nice museums about the kings, queens and soldiers. The cathedral and the canons were there as usual and the museum had the jewel-studded crown and the swords which was used by the king of Scotland. Narrow streets of Edinburgh.
