Pulling Threads: June 2009
http://threadandtreadle.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Ravings of a Doll Costumer. Saturday, June 20, 2009. While waiting on some fabric to come in for a couple of commissions I'm doing I managed to get 4 outfits done. 3 are going on Etsy and one on eBay. They should be up on both sites by the end of the day. Two of the outfits feature my new flip flop design. I used self sticking foam for the soles and while it's a little tricky to get the pieces to match up before they stick to each other I am happy with the results. Thread and Treadle Doll Costuming.

Ravings of a Doll Costumer. Monday, January 21, 2013. Beauty and the Beast. I have 2 very different projects going on right now. I like to think of them in terms of Beauty and the Beast as one is very pretty and the other well.isn't. She is 15" tall with an Early Bru head and beautiful blue paper weight eyes. Her body is from Gildebrief. She has a rather plain dark brown mohair wig which I hope to change for something with a little more style. Thread and Treadle Doll Costuming. Wednesday, January 9, 2013.

http://threadandtreadle.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Ravings of a Doll Costumer. Friday, August 31, 2012. Colette's new and improved wardrobe. I also discovered that, after perusing Colette's wardrobe, she was in need of several more items than she already possessed. There were some true staples of a French Fashion's wardrobe that she was missing. Where else does one look for Mademoiselle's belongings but her boudoir! And what is in her boudoir.but her bed of course! Her bed you say? More on Colette's bed in part 2. Thread and Treadle Doll Costuming. Since...

Pulling Threads: May 2009
http://threadandtreadle.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Ravings of a Doll Costumer. Saturday, May 30, 2009. You think with all this talk about quilting and knitting that I wasn't doing any doll sewing. Oh contraire mon frere! Actually, I 've been quite busy. After rocking eBay with a couple outfits,( one sold for over $65.00), I picked up 3 commissions, 2 from the internet and one live person! The interesting part is that none of them are related to the stuff I've had on EBay lately. Instead, they represent alot of my past work. Thursday, May 21, 2009. Finish...
