Thursday, April 25, 2013. This morning, we stuck by our usual family birthday tradition: Scrambled eggs followed by a modest slice of birthday cake and then the opening of birthday presents. Saw the Cedar WaxWings up in the backyard neighbors Pecan tree again. You hear them before you see them. They're almost always in flocks and they have a high, thin almost whispered call note.
