Active Space - Rock Climbing. A climbing trip to Winspit Quarry on the dorset coast. This was an old Limestone quarry, where the stones used to build buckingham palace were sourced from. Now it is a leisure spotfor walkers, picnics and also rock climbing. I thought this was an excellent example of a once -used space that is now being used for sport and activity. After much deliberation I have composed a main menu page and a sub-menu page (for my portfolio) as a website. I have set up a moonfruit site after discovering how to link files in flash. This allows the display size to be signifcantly larger and therefore easier to read. I chose a minimalist template and deleted the pre-set layout as I found it quite dull, I created my own backgrounds. The address is http:/ www.mattellins.moonfruit.com/. Just another WordPress.com weblog. November 21, 2007. Lomo Photography is a photographic method stemming form soviet Russia. It is more of a cult thing now with the photo’s taking on a distinctive colour saturation and warped look. The photo’s are often blurry or out of focus but this doesn’t matter to a lomo’er. All of the photo’s are carefully laid out according to colour and content and are repeated to make a pattern that is much clearer when you stand back. Focus Study: My intensions. April 21, 2007.
