How to Grow a Grasty: July 2012
http://growinggrastys.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
How to Grow a Grasty. Thursday, July 26, 2012. I got my computer up and running! This was no small feat with a toddler, which is why I've been putting it off for, oh, five months now. The only reason I accomplished it today was a perfectly sick kid: sick enough to do nothing but sit around, but not sick enough that he needed me to hold him and nurse him constantly. So I have yet to document a pregnancy from the beginning. Sorry babies! You'll just have to use your imaginations for that part!

Twenty Feet of Grace: Moving Right Along
http://twentyfeetofgrace.blogspot.com/2011/08/moving-right-along.html
Twenty Feet of Grace. Plus ten toes more). Thursday, August 4, 2011. It's been a summer of surprises and anticipation so far, but now we are seeing the unfolding of God's plan for us. Matt has spent the summer in Abilene getting acclamated to his new store. The kids and I have been here in OKC without our husband and father and without a vehicle. However, this time next week we'll be together for good in Abilene! We found a great house that's walking distance to Matt's store and the younger girls' school.

Twenty Feet of Grace. Plus ten toes more). Saturday, February 11, 2012. She arrived beautifully on Monday, February 6 at 1:03 pm, eight days before her due date and two days ahead of my scheduled induction. I have a story to tell about her arrival, but alas.my brain is sleep-deprived so I shall save that post for another day. Meanwhile, here are some pics of our little peanut in all of her 6 lb., 7 oz. glory. First picture, silver nitrate and all. No paparazzi, please! Saturday, February 11, 2012. 02/20/...

March 16, 2012 in Uncategorized. It’s been seven months since I packed the car and drove to Texas, and now I’m back in Virginia for Spring Break. What a beautiful welcome home, Ingrid. A new library, and new children — all the productive passage of time. What’s new in the parents’ garden? It’s early, huh? Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Morning walk in Ireland | EYES OPEN

Morning walk in Ireland. January 12, 2012 in Uncategorized. Creeping through the silent house one morning, I went out into the courtyard, where a green door banged in the wind, and then down the hill, through the stone gate, and onto the lane. Puddles lay silver-gray around my feet and mist hung on the mountains. Already the day felt old. Only the Curious Have Something to Find. Comments feed for this article. January 13, 2012 at 12:33 am. Mountains of Mourne | EYES OPEN
https://ipierce84.wordpress.com/2012/01/11/mountains-of-mourne
January 11, 2012 in Uncategorized. The Mournes of County Down, visible from the hill above the Morrisons’ house, are granite mountains famed for their beauty. In the 1800s Percy French wrote a song called The Mountains O’Mourne about a young man who travels to London and writes home to his sweetheart in Ireland. Here are the first and last stanzas. Oh, Mary, this London’s a wonderful sight. With people here working by day and by night. They don’t sow potatoes, nor barley nor wheat. Enter your comment here.

Hapless Homestead: Here We Go Again (Maybe)
http://haplesshomestead.blogspot.com/2014/10/here-we-go-again-maybe.html
We're transforming our raw land in a rain forest area of Hawaii into something useful and productive. Occasional forays into the joys and perils of teaching and raising teens may take place. Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Here We Go Again (Maybe). Apparently, there is another possible hurricane on the way. The kids are excited, because it is meant to hit us on PSAT day - which means not having to come to school on a Saturday to take a big test. Probably, it will be nothing. It could be augmented with a secon...

We're transforming our raw land in a rain forest area of Hawaii into something useful and productive. Occasional forays into the joys and perils of teaching and raising teens may take place. Monday, February 24, 2014. A video from my phone - shaky camera and all. Here's the baby getting her bottle. She wasn't as jumpy as usual, but it is still cute (in my opinion). I guess I am still just so happy she's eating! Links to this post. Monday, February 17, 2014. Links to this post. Wednesday, February 12, 2014.
