Rules of the Road. CLUB BIKE TRIP ON ROOT RIVER TRAIL IN LANESBORO, MN ON. WED 9/30- FRI 10/2. The trip is posted on our website. The paved Root River Trail is basically flat with a half-mile climb before the trail’s end at Houston and follows the meandering Root River past limestone bluffs, picturesque farms, and small towns. Thursday, August 27, 2009. Yesterday at the LANES BOD meeting, Penny Post, Tom Brillat and Karen Keefe shared a short story with the rest of the Board. There were 10 ears listening! AND we got Tom to tell his Chinese fable to the Portsmouth Mah Jong Club, which was meeting in the next room. Board president Joanne Piazzi attended Tea and Tales in Franklin, NH on Aug. 25.
