Learning How to Grieve | late bloomer
https://latebloomeradventures.wordpress.com/2013/10/31/learning-how-to-grieve
Stories, musings, and pictures… a little bit late. Learning How to Grieve. October 31, 2013. I always thought it was odd when I would hear people say “they need to learn how to grieve” or “when they figure out how to grieve…” I always just kind of assumed grieving would look like uncontrollable sobbing in the fetal position. Sadly, I now know that is not the only option. Roughly two weeks after saying bye to Pa-paw, Rainie. Was overcome with a sudden malady that sent her to the Emergency Vet. I fit i...

Stories, musings, and pictures… a little bit late. August 28, 2013. I referred to Rainie as my dog in law. She was our long term, temporary house guest. She often used her nose to get attention. And her breath usually smelled bad. She did the best cartwheels…. And was amazingly flexible for a big dog. 100 Pounds of Love. July 3, 2013. I started working at my newest job a little over a month ago. For the past month I have been completely happy. Here are some highlights of why I like my new job so much:.

A Renewed Love | late bloomer

Stories, musings, and pictures… a little bit late. November 6, 2013. I’m not sure if I knew I was in love in high school. I sure didn’t feel like it during college. The years in between then and now, well, I’ve had a few affairs. But now, it is certain – I am in love. I am. In love with running. My college experience did not follow suit. I ran for the team 3 out of the 4 years. There was someone to drive the bus, but they were no coach. Since then I’ve been on again off again, on my own and with tr...

Starting with the Chicken: July 2012

Starting with the Chicken. Coming Soon: http:/ underthebedgallery.blogspot.com. View my complete profile. Friday, July 27, 2012. I am sorry for the abrupt halt in communication about my birds, or now actually, bird. I was losing steam writing about them since things had really settled down and I didn't feel it was all that entertaining. And then I toyed with the idea of spicing things up a little bit. And then Eleanore died. And then I was a little bit devastated. If you can be a little bit devastated.

Monday, July 20, 2009. I'll be taking my first driving lessons tomorrow! I enrolled at Honda Kalookan Driving School, it's 6k for 10 hours of hands-on driving and 5 hrs of lecture. I processed my student permit din today. Magkahalong excitement at kaba ang nararamdaman ko.l Excited kasi matuto ako ng bagong skill, nakakakaba kasi baka mahirapan yung magtuturo sa kin or baka di ako masyadong matuto . ;p. Good luck to me ;D. Posted by late bloomer. Sunday, July 19, 2009. Gusto kong matutong mag drive!

The Late Bloomer
A Blog about a 50 Girlie Who's Running Hard after Her Dreams. About The Late Bloomer. Saturday, November 8, 2014. Here's an excerpt from my upcoming novel, The Redemptive Heart. This is a first draft and may change over time. In the meantime, enjoy! Carla sat at the bar nursing her third vodka gimlet, oblivious to the world around her. She had become a regular at a local bar known as Cory’s Place. Jason, the bartender, had taken a liking to her, and not just for pity’s sake. To watch over her. Tell you w...

Friday, February 25, 2011. Last weekend I think I saw the most unusual and creative re purposing ever. We were on our way to dig razor clams on the coast, stopping at a friend's in-laws to do some native plant salvage. The ferns that needed to be removed were between two long stacks of firewood, and behind those stacks was a thing of beauty and ingenuity! Labels: Garage Door Roof. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. Any other cool uses for water bottles? Tuesday, June 15, 2010. One only needs to wander any superm...

late bloomer | Stories, musings, and pictures… a little bit late.
Stories, musings, and pictures… a little bit late. April 25, 2014. Back in November Aaron and I started fostering dogs through Adopt a Golden Knoxville. This guy was our first foster. Franklin and Charlie have very similar coloring. Franklin is just a lot fluffier. I didn’t even think the TV was on to be left on…. This was quite a reminder that not every dog is as well trained as Charlie. We also got better about our remote storage method (if you can call the floor a method). The rest of our time...Aaron...

Late Bloomer Athlete
Friday, June 11, 2010. It's not just about the training. After spending 7 months training for the Ironman, I've come to realize that it's not just about the training. It's also about the hell I'm putting my body through. At the beginning of training, I had some trouble with my right foot. I saw a podiatrist who diagnosed Morton's Neuroma and gave me a cortizone shot. Then, I had to get orthotics for my running shoes. So, while I've been putting my body through hell, it's been slowly falling apart, too.
