Well I have a ’79 Hobbit for my g/f that needed an upgrade too. I figured the $80 K-STAR was a good choice. I installed some 1.5k DIO clutch springs on my ’78 Hobbit (DR kit, Boyesen Mod Reeds, #90 jet, Proma pipe). It hits so hard off the line now, I love it. It’s really easy.
