Scissortail Songs: March 2013
http://scissortailsongs.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 11, 2013. I don’t know about you, but I am sorely missing an hour of time. Where does that hour go each Spring? If I dislike the first Sunday of Daylight Savings Time, then I ABHOR the first Monday. The alarm sounds and darkness still filters through the curtains. On Monday I am suffering from Sunday’s. Whiplash of checking conflicting clocks. One says I am an hour early, “thank goodness,” then the other says I am an hour late, “oh snap! That’s a perfect start! Do you have that problem?

Scissortail Songs: Cake Pops VS Gravity
http://scissortailsongs.blogspot.com/2013/02/cake-pops-vs-gravity.html
Monday, February 25, 2013. Cake Pops VS Gravity. I promised my daughter we would try out the cake pop maker from Santa after the sugar induced coma of the holiday season wore off. And then I promised myself I would keep that promise as soon as our elementary school fundraiser (my full-time volunteer head-ache) had passed. So, on Feb. 12, I gathered all the necessary supplies- sticks, wrappers, candy melts, sprinkles, and I unpacked the machine. We followed all the tips and directions. Heart shaped boulde...

Tricia Dewey: November 2011
http://triciadewey.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 6, 2011. We just got back from visiting family in rural Virginia, where the scenery is amazing. One of my favorite things to do there is to just drive around the countryside, taking photos of old buildings, barns, and of course the beautiful Shenandoah mountains. Since my photography skills are somewhat lacking, I like to tweak the images I take in Photoshop, removing phone poles, signs, and cars, then I add painterly effects digitally. Tricia Dewey: More Digital Work
http://triciadewey.blogspot.com/2012/03/more-digital-work.html
Friday, March 2, 2012. The first image I worked on today looks like several of the others I have done. I hope I am not in a rut, so I am working on images that are out of my comfort zone a little. Since I love color, this second one is much more my style. Both images feature art dolls I have made. I am an artist in North Texas focusing primarily on Polymer Clay, Encaustic Wax, Digital Imagery, and Mixed Media. View my complete profile. Make your own badge here. North Texas Polymer Clay Guild.

Tricia Dewey: March 2012

Sunday, March 4, 2012. I got to spend this evening working on this image. I like the brighter colors. These dolls are made of polymer clay, encaustic wax, and fabric. I made these dolls a couple of years ago, and wanted to use them in digital art. Friday, March 2, 2012. The first image I worked on today looks like several of the others I have done. Tricia Dewey: January 2012
http://triciadewey.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 26, 2012. One of my goals this year is to try out different digital techniques and styles. I prefer this more contemporary version of our cat, Weepy, but will continue to try different things along the way. My husband also prefers this version of his cat. Sunday, January 22, 2012. I spent this weekend working on pet portraits of the family pets. This first one is of Flannel, my mother-in-law's cat, who unfortunately, is not with us anymore. He was a wonderful cat. And, finally, I have an.
