Abba-doings: January 2011
http://abba-doings.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Sharing my thoughts, heart, and days. Sunday, January 30, 2011. Here kitty, kitty! I cleaned the house today. I vacuumed every carpeted room, all the wood floor and even swiffered it. This activity usually keeps the pets busy too running from room to room- away from the vacuum. It can actually be quite funny. Wrigley will usually gets curious enough to come check out what it is I'm doing until the evil roaring sucking machine comes towards him- and then he bolts! He echoed back. and we both started s...

Jack and Ben, Inc. These brothers are on the move . . . keep up if you can. Thursday, March 17, 2011. Precious Ben is 2-years-old today! The following pictures are all from today, Ben's 2nd birthday. He's saying, "cheeeeeeese" in this one. I really, really, really had a hard time getting him to stay put for ANY of these pictures. This is one of my favorites! Reaching for the camera here. Looking way too big for 2. This is my other favorite. Sure is windy out today. Posted by Mama of two. I love shooting ...

Abba-doings: March 2013
http://abba-doings.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Sharing my thoughts, heart, and days. Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Noah and I had a great afternoon together playing, talking, singing, dancing. And then I introduced my son the a whole new world (no, not Aladdin): OREOS! This was such a special treat- for both of us! At first, he didn't know what to think of these new "datoos" (crackers in Noah-speak). They're the same size as his regular "datoos," but something was different. Ohhhhh, we dip these? And you can pull them apart? I think they were a hit! This ...

Jack and Ben, Inc.: March 2012
http://brothersjackandben.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Jack and Ben, Inc. These brothers are on the move . . . keep up if you can. Monday, March 26, 2012. Before church on Saturday I attempted to get a few pictures of Ben to add to the 3-year-old gallery. He's a stinker and you can see it in many of these pictures. The few smiles I obtained were won through mommy immitating some of his favorite "lines". Where did three years go? Even though they look alike, I had to include all the smiling ones. Posted by Mama of two. Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Sam met one of ...

Jack and Ben, Inc.: December 2010
http://brothersjackandben.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Jack and Ben, Inc. These brothers are on the move . . . keep up if you can. Thursday, December 23, 2010. I have been experimenting with my new camera, what settings in what light. Here are a few of my shots from the last two days. I have a ton more, but will spare the audience. The only one that I did point and shoot was the one of Ben in the grocery cart. I can't wait to learn more. When Christmas is over, I'll actually read my entire manual. Ben just got up from his nap. Crazy hair. I love this one.

Abba-doings: Oxymoron: Financial Peace
http://abba-doings.blogspot.com/2011/04/oxymoron-financial-peace.html
Sharing my thoughts, heart, and days. Saturday, April 16, 2011. On March 2, 2011, John and I began our journey with Dave Ramsey in Financial Peace University. We are just over halfway done (13 lessons in all) and have made GREAT progress! We have a family budget meeting about once a week to keep a handle on our budget for April since it's the first time we've really had to challenge ourselves to live by it. And you know what? So far, it's working! We were even able to go out to dinner (and dessert! Two o...

Sharing my thoughts, heart, and days. Friday, April 29, 2011. I work at Children's Hospital in Aurora and our entire campus is smoke and tobacco free. There is no smoking anywhere on campus and signs are posted ALL over. I love it. Of smoke while working. We don't have designated smoking areas. You just can't smoke on campus. Did I mention that I love it! I said, "excuse me, sir? Nothing). I kept going, "sir? I pointed to the burning cigarette butt in his hand and said,. You need to go across the street,...

Abba-doings: September 2010
http://abba-doings.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Sharing my thoughts, heart, and days. Friday, September 3, 2010. The House That Built Me. Driving down the road the other day, this song came on the radio and pulled me right in. By the end of the first chorus, I was crying. I couldn't help but think about the house that I grew up in. the house that built me. The corner house on South Painted Sky Street (how's that for a street name? Will always be a home to me. For most of my life, that house was HOME to me- to us! The House That Built Me. This brokenne...
