Ailsa and Dale Leftwich: May 2006
http://ailsahedleyleftwich.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. 8 weeks to go. As requested, here I am, 32 weeks pregnant. Posted by Ailsa @ 5/23/2006 04:35:00 PM. Anyone need some rhubarb? It seems like every year a new plant springs up in the rhubarb zone of our back yard. Most prairie gardens, especially in rural areas, just don't seem complete without a decent patch of rhubarb. This year a lot of plants are coming up a bit earlier than usual. One of the side effects of climate change, I guess. Posted by Ailsa @ 5/22/2006 11:00:00 AM.

Ailsa and Dale Leftwich: March 2006
http://ailsahedleyleftwich.blogspot.com/2006_03_01_archive.html
Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. In February and March of 2006, I was invited back to the Bahá’í World Centre in Haifa, Israel to assist in the Archives Office for 6 weeks. I had previously spent 6.5 years there, during two different periods of service, between 1988 and 1991, and between 2000 and 2004. Just a few glimpses of my recent time there. Posted by Ailsa @ 3/29/2006 10:28:00 AM. For those interested in seeing the development of baby Leftwich:. 6 weeks later, the baby is starting to look more like a baby!

Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. Ottawa: The wedding of Nousha and Vargha / Touring the Parliament Buildings. Right after Naw-Ruz / Easter weekend, we flew to Ottawa to attend the wedding of my dear friend Nousha Etemad to Vargha Ram. We arrived the day before so we had a chance to rest a bit and be tourists. We visited the Parliament Buildings, specifically the main building that contains the House of Commons and the Senate, as well as the Peace Tower shown here. Did I mention that Ottawa had a lot of snow?

Ailsa and Dale Leftwich: February 2006
http://ailsahedleyleftwich.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. Before getting to the present, I thought it would be nice to step back a bit and include some photos from our wedding. We were married on 7 August 2004 at East Longview Hall, a lovely little country hall about 20 minutes’ drive west of High River, in the foothills of Alberta. It had rained quite heavily in the morning, but thankfully stopped several hours before the wedding, so we were able to have the ceremony outside, as we had hoped. Ailsa and Dale Leftwich: September 2006
http://ailsahedleyleftwich.blogspot.com/2006_09_01_archive.html
Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. Dinner in the field. Dale's mom entered a contest at the local credit union to get dinner in the field. It used to be a common practice that during harvest, dinner would be brought to the farmers in the field. Eleanor still does this sometimes for Dale and Ken and those working with them. Helen Solmes from the local paper, the Miner-Journal, was dining with us too, and she took this photograph (thanks for sharing the photo, Helen). Posted by Ailsa @ 9/19/2006 11:07:00 AM. Dale an...

http://ailsahedleyleftwich.blogspot.com/2008/01/busy-girl-november-december.html
Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. A busy girl - November and December. We've been off travelling much of the last month and a half and I haven't had a chance to get to posting much in the blog lately. Also, this little girl keeps us busy. Or should I say, she keeps herself busy. They finally let me wash dishes! Markers don't just draw on paper, they show up on fridges and floors and, well, anywhere I want them to! After all that work, time for a nap. Posted by Ailsa @ 1/26/2008 11:41:00 AM.

Ailsa and Dale Leftwich: And with the Hedleys over New Years...
http://ailsahedleyleftwich.blogspot.com/2008/01/and-with-hedleys-over-new-years.html
Ailsa and Dale Leftwich. And with the Hedleys over New Years. Our first morning in High River, we went to the home of my cousin Blaine and Pauline, with most of my family, as well as several other Treloars (Aunt Wilma, Cam and Donna and her daughter, whose name I have completely forgotten, sadly). They live west of High River, where the view isn't too shabby:. Cam and Donna and daughter. Leila, Aleta and their new friend. Spying on Mom, David and Pauline. Budding musicians, Sutherland and Aleta.
