Get me outta here! Food and other loves. February 6, 2013. Since moving to LA, my mind has been filled with many domestic fantasies. This, is my cast iron pan. I procured it for $13. When you buy a new cast iron pan, there is a coating that you must scrub off using steel wool before you can begin seasoning. If you season your pan properly, it becomes non-stick. The ultimate test for a cast iron pan are eggs, cooked sunny-side up. Can bacon be made into Jam? What the hell is bacon jam? Long Overdue →.
