http://twistedrichard.blogspot.com/2010/04/water-breaks-bow.html
Choice Yammerings and Nonsensical Ramblings. Tuesday, April 6, 2010. Water Breaks the Bow. We scramble up the ladder - topside,. A chorus of hollow steel and labored breath. White-knuckled fingers steady us on the crest of a swell. Straining - we force the hatch,. Our cheeks stung with icy rain. Spilling onto the deck, we grasp blindly for a hold,. Flailing about in the salty spray of green water. The pungent smell of Boston mackerel and squid,. Our bait boxes toppled,. Beyond the gunwales,. I mean, who ...

http://scoopdoggydog.blogspot.com/2010/02/railway-pub.html
Sunday, February 28, 2010. Here it is, the up and coming Railway Pub located in beautiful Contoocook, NH. My hopes are to convert this old train car into a happening pub. I know it does not look like much, but I think It can become something amazing. I plan on making a relaxing, enjoyable place where people can come after work and enjoy a drink and some good music. It's going to have an old world feel featuring live Irish music every week. March 8, 2010 at 9:37 AM. I think this is a great idea!

Random: The Runaways (2010)

I'll get a better title up here eventually. until then, enjoy my useless musings on various subjects. Monday, April 26, 2010. Floria Sigismondi has created a film that does not disappoint. The real highlight of this movie however is Joan Jett. Kristen Stewart plays her part surprisingly well. The more intense emotions of Joan come through loud and clear. One key scene in a recording studio at the end is a prime example of this. Overall, "The Runaways" told a decent story. It does not sugarcoat the wo...

On That Note...: Hang Your Hat
http://onthatnotelallen.blogspot.com/2010/02/hang-your-hat.html
Monday, February 15, 2010. Hang Your Hat" by artist Lisa Rae Winant. Image used by permission of the artist. 37 x 10 / oil on panel. She imagined what it would be like to smell something other than dirt and mothballs. What it would feel like on her toes to touch hardwood floors instead of the scratchy mismatched area rugs scattered over the cement floor. What it would be like to breathe in crisp fresh air of the country instead of the smoggy air of the crowded city. Does she really need a bigger place?

My Dogs my life: May 2010
http://scoopdoggydog.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 2, 2010. My first excursion out of the United States took place three years ago, it was Spring Break 2007. I took off for a Canadian adventure with my sister that we would not soon forget. With the camera in my hand, I wobbled unsteadily towards the falls to soon realize that I might take a fall of my own. I quickly snapped the picture, which by the way didn't come out, and hurried my way back to the car to find my sister laughing hysterically at me. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Dogs my life.

My Dogs my life: Runaways from this one.
http://scoopdoggydog.blogspot.com/2010/04/runaways-from-this-one.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. Runaways from this one. In 1975, teenage girls did not play in rock bands. They did not sing sexually enticing songs. If anything, they sang slow, sappy love songs, just like ones their parents listened to. Then along came the Runaways. The one glistening light in The Runaways Michael Shannon's role as Fowley, the snide, vicious, conceited, over drugged, and oversexed manager of The Runaways. His superb acting was utterly unlike anything else in the film. May 1, 2010 at 6:10 PM.
