Saturday, 8 June 2013. Since my last, admittedly half-arsed post the weather has remained fair, passage migrants non-existent and breeding birds very much existent! Most stuff here now has eggs with a few minding chicks and a minority such as Rock Pipit actually fledging young already! Classic views of a Rock Pipit incubating.think she's seen me. So I'm back on the illustrious Isles of Scilly for some R&R post 'the most mental season ever' where workload, film crews, special events and random guests nearly had every single one of us fatigued in an insane ayslum! Thursday, 17 October 2013. The fall is still reverberating around my brain. Emotions barely back to relative normality. So time for Brownsman! And some canny leftovers from said migration event. The leftovers in questions are more of a michelin star main - super mini and exotic! I am, of course, talking about Little Buntings.
