Mean Puppies, Inc. Thursday, August 13, 2015. I meant to post these a while ago! The girls had the spin art toy out today and it jogged my memory. Rob's parents got this spin art toy for Natalie for her birthday. I had a battery operated spin art machine when I was a kid and it is fun, but this is superior in so many ways and I highly recommend it. One great thing about it is that it is powered by pushing a button, no C or D sized batteries that-you-never-have-on-hand required. August 14, 2015 8:34 AM.

Preschool Science Experiment - I is for Ice. Whenever I have an unusually shaped plastic form to throw out, I fill it with water and freeze it. Sometimes we do something specific with the weird ice block, but most of the time I just hand it to the kids and say, "Go outside and play with this." Even now, they still love it.
