The house is quiet and it is rainy outside. Peace. So few days exist where calm and quiet enter our lives. Days when you can eat icecream on the couch and write grocery lists without the latest kid show playing in the background. Enjoy the quiet once in a while. My daughter was baptized last September. It was something she's thought about a lot. She asked lots of questions, created artwork around the topic, she even told her friends and family that they needed to be baptized. My daughter is seven. She was six when she asked to be baptized and.quite honestly, Momma wasn't ready. So many questions ran through my mind, "What if she doesn't really 'get it'? One Day in Brazil. Every day on the Rio trip was an adventure! There are many stories to tell – this is just one instance of God’s hand at work while we were there. Little did I know that one of the ladies from Betel had followed the young woman to the back of the house. Just before we were ready to leave, the young mother came out and said, “I want Jesus.” How we rejoiced! Pastor Chris prayed with her and the three of us reminded her of the gospel, so that she could share it with someone else.
