Too Good not to Share. So, I've been bailing on the pancakes lately, I know. With Island Dad home, I'm trying to get better. Actually, his very presence is what led me to this week's recipe. Island Dad l-o-v-e-s eggnog. Base recipe found on allrecipes.com. 15 c all-purpose flour. 1 Tbsp. sugar. 25 tsp. baking soda. 05 tsp. salt. 2 Tbsp. clarified butter. 1 egg, lightly beaten. Heat a lightly oiled skillet or griddle over medium heat. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.

So, wow. what a few days this has been. Swiss has left for South Dakota, someone has to be there to accept our household goods so he left this morning to head West. Getting back into the swing of things. As I said in my last post (about nine months ago now), the longer you put off writing a new post, the harder it seems to be to make yourself sit down and actually write the post! We've been busy over the last nine months! The biggest happening, of course, would be the addition of Island Baby! Thankfully, when he does. Slow down, he is a fantastic snuggler, smiler, and coo-er. My Dear, Sweet, Active, Wonderful Daughter:. One year ago today, I first held you in my arms and looked at your chubby, pink face. And rubbed your oh! So soft baby hair (most of which fell out and has now been replaced). You were not a teeny tiny baby. You came out looking more like a two-month-old. And I LOVED it. Big babies are awesome.
