Thoughts on the Paradise Kiss movie. Jun 8th, 2011 at 9:30 PM. I went and saw the movie tonight and am pleased to say that it was wonderful! I had my expectations built up quite a bit after seeing the preview a gazillion times, but it was even better than I was expecting. I won't spoil anything by summarizing, but it diverges from the manga a lot- especially the ending (so if you hated the ending of the manga maybe you'll like the movie ending? I was also pleasantly surprised by the quality of the acting!
