Julip: March 2012
http://julipbyjaninepeck.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 24, 2012. Hi, Miss Ruby! I've named all my tap shoes after my favourite (female) tap dancers. This one's for Ruby Keeler. Best known for the Busby Berkeley. Spectacular, 42nd Street. And here are some I prepared earlier. Scuse the dodgy photoshop job hiding all the toys/mess in the background. This is the base model of my range, and will look so pretty in all the leathers I've got. especially the silver sparkly faux crocodile. Or my old favourite. Monday, March 19, 2012. The idea is that ...

Julip: February 2012
http://julipbyjaninepeck.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 5, 2012. The weather. Holy moley. What a day. It was stinking hot inside (we only have air-con in one room. and not the one we were all in), the windows started to leak with all the rain that was pelting down, and my poor Fudgey man had to barbecue in the deluge. What a trooper. My mum's family are sooo awesome, they were all completely calm and happy despite the weather dramas, everyone pitched in and helped out and I think they all had a good time. Had me. I had admired this bag. Elise...

Julip: December 2011
http://julipbyjaninepeck.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 8, 2011. It's taken nearly two and a half years, but at last my Ellie. Shoes have gone from this. Most excited to have finally finished them. I think I made just about every mistake and broke every rule getting the soles and heels on these, due to a combination of being out of practise, laziness and lack of necessary equipment/patience. In some ways I'm very glad I did - it has been a while since I've soled any shoes so it was a great refresher course in what NOT to do. I am a shoemake...

Julip: July 2012
http://julipbyjaninepeck.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 25, 2012. Please excuse the yawning. I've been a nervous wreck with worry and am sooo sleep deprived. Thankfully, for the moment, apart from a cold, Bean is much better. Fudge is home, day care attendance has resumed, and I am s-l-o-w-l-y catching up on sleep. And somehow, in amongst it all, I've managed to finish another three pairs of shoes! I still can't quite understand how. I did it, but I did. I have proof. Three pairs worth of shoes type proof. Miss Jane's try-on Miss Eleanors.

Essex Huffer – Life in Mud Spattered Boots
https://annewheaton.co.uk/2012/03/15/essex-huffer
Life in Mud Spattered Boots. March 15, 2012. April 21, 2016. The huffer is a triangular shaped soft roll, peculiar to Essex, which may have got its name from a corruption of half a loaf. Certainly, some local pubs serve huffers that are as large as half a loaf. Despite searching through recipe books and the internet, I haven’t been able to find an original recipe, so this is one of my own devising. To make your Essex Huffers you will need:. 60 g butter, cubed. 1 teasp Doves quick yeast. 280 ml cold water.

In the meantime, if you want to have a look. Once Chickpea is a bit older I'm hoping to get back into the shoemakin...

http://spjacksonphoto.typepad.com/sarah_jackson_photography/2012/08/he-sells-seashells-by-the-seashore.html
Love life. craft. August 18, 2012. He sells seashells by the seashore. I thought Id take a minute to share what Gunnar has been up to. . When we were at the beach in June, Gunnar started fooling around with drawing and painting sand dollars. Theres quite a collection of them in the cabin, so he would take each one and make a painting of it. The first one went to some friends for their babys nursery, and a friend of ours loved them so much that she offered to sell them in her shop. . I would buy them via ...

Julip: September 2013
http://julipbyjaninepeck.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Saturday, September 7, 2013. Another pair finished, and another happy customer! Miss Julie's shoes cut out. Miss Julie was in the very first class I joined at my tap school. she is an extremely lovely lady, and I was very pleased to finally. Be able to make some shoes for her. she's been waiting for a very long time! The year after I started tap was the year I did my shoemaking course, and the rest, as they say, is history. They are also sewn down the middle to stop the taps marking the other shoe.
