On Monday, some of the teachers piled into the red truck and rode about an hour away to a beach called La Baye. It is very beautiful, with sand, beautiful blue water, and amazing sun! Laying under the sun, of course getting a bit toasty, was amazing. It was a total 'Spring Break' thing to do! Sunday, March 23, 2008. So its Wednesday...

Life after the Haitian Nation...: Good Friday...
http://ashleyhaiti.blogspot.com/2011/04/good-friday.html
Life after the Haitian Nation. Living in Haiti for 3 years changed me.for the better. I love the way God uses amazing experiences for His glory! Friday, April 22, 2011. He died for me. Sometimes it's hard for me to fathom this. Why would Jesus, God's son, die for someone like me? But God shows me. Daily. It's all worth it. So on this Good Friday.I pray that everyone sees how much God loves them. That He sent his Son.His only.to die for us. And all of the sin in our lives. And it's so worth it.

Life after the Haitian Nation. Living in Haiti for 3 years changed me.for the better. I love the way God uses amazing experiences for His glory! Friday, February 29, 2008. Al George is one of my students. He has a very political name! He is very funny.and always laughing. He gets all the little hidden jokes inside of our stories (which is hard for my kids since they don't always comprehend the background) and loves to make up stories of his own. Its good to be loved.even by a 7 year old! But we are writi...

Life after the Haitian Nation. Living in Haiti for 3 years changed me.for the better. I love the way God uses amazing experiences for His glory! Monday, June 30, 2008. Sometimes sadness takes you by surprise. Sometimes you know that its coming. I think I knew that this summer would be a hard one. Moving into an apartment, finding a job.totally affirmed the fact that this is one summer I am not spending time getting myself prepared for another year in Haiti. I miss it. Life after the Haitian Nation...: Things Aren't As They Seem...
http://ashleyhaiti.blogspot.com/2011/04/things-arent-as-they-seem.html
Life after the Haitian Nation. Living in Haiti for 3 years changed me.for the better. I love the way God uses amazing experiences for His glory! Friday, April 1, 2011. Things Aren't As They Seem. Sometimes things aren't as they seem they should be. Today, I should be at the airport, getting ready to board the plane to my beloved Haiti. But here I sit, on my couch, surrounded by medicine and Kleenex. But, I have peace. I know that God has a reason for this.even if its just to take some time to rest.
