Ordinary thoughts
http://kcspecial.blogspot.com/2007/04/lately-ive-been-trying-to-take.html
Tuesday, April 17, 2007. The following weekend was a quick day trip to Washington DC. The trip was one that I won't soon forget. The entire trip lasted about 28 hours, and about 16 of those hours were spenting walking around the Tidal Basin. or at least that's how it felt. I learned that it is entirely possible to spend an entire day walking around yet staying within a 2 mile radius. Next on the semi-local list to do/see:. Posted by KC at 8:48 PM. Ordinary thoughts: Wiiiiii
http://kcspecial.blogspot.com/2006/12/wiiiiii.html
Tuesday, December 26, 2006. I'm happy to note that I was the champion bowler in the family with a come-from-behind turkey in the tenth frame. I was also able to beat my brother a few times in both boxing and tennis. Boxing is quite the workout! We were both quite exhausted by the end - not to mention pretty sore the next day. I felt muscles that I probably hadn't used in years. So for anyone out there that's into gaming, I would recommend checking out the Wii. And definitely get the replacement strap.

Ordinary thoughts: "Real" art
http://kcspecial.blogspot.com/2006/12/real-art.html
Saturday, December 16, 2006. I felt like a real adult this past weekend. I made my first "real" art purchase. Not sure what "real" art is, but this qualifies in my definition since it cost more than $10 and didn't come from Target in a plastic frame. I was doing some holiday shopping when I walked by an artist with his paintings on display on 3rd Ave. Long story short, two hours later, I walked away with a small size, original Jeff Tobis. Ordinary thoughts: February 2006

Friday, February 24, 2006. I've decided to give this blog thing another shot. Perhaps I'll be more diligent and start posting on a semi-regular basis, but who knows. I've thought that in the past. It would be a good gauge of the candidate's ability to thrive under a pressure situation and to handle the unexpected. Hmm, maybe when I have my own company one day I'll consider that as a possibility. Posted by KC at 5:35 PM. Thursday, February 23, 2006. Delayed signs and symptoms may include:. Its been a whil...

Monday, September 19, 2005. Big congrats go out to Teresa, Lynn, and especially Anny - all newly engaged. Good luck gals! Posted by KC at 1:36 PM. Sunday, September 11, 2005. There was a homeless man moaning and shuffling down Museum Mile with his pants unzipped and totally exposed for all to see. What was strange though was that he managed to keep himself neatly trimmed. Nice to know that the homeless are keeping up with personal grooming underneath. Posted by KC at 10:20 PM. What does it mean? I'm not ...

Ordinary thoughts: February 2005

Thursday, February 10, 2005. A company in Michigan has now banned its employees from smoking, even off hours. I myself am not a smoker, but it just seems like this is pushing a fine line. Where does it end? How much control can/should an employer have over an employee's personal lifestyle? Are companies going to start publishing an accepted weight level based on height, gender, etc? Is there also going to be an established acceptable level of blood pressure, resting heart rate, cholesterol?

Ordinary thoughts: Vacation Dreams
http://kcspecial.blogspot.com/2006/12/vacation-dreams.html
Monday, December 04, 2006. I often wonder what I would do if I were to be unemployed right now. I keep hoping that my current company decides to get out of the business and let everyone go (with decent packages). At one point, it was a realistic prospect but things have changed and the executives have begun exploring other options. There's still a slim chance that I might get my wish, but it's not looking promising. Posted by KC at 10:48 PM. What do you think? New York, New York, United States.

Ordinary thoughts: November 2005
http://kcspecial.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 23, 2005. As I was walking to work this morning, I saw no less than 1 in 5 people carrying luggage - myself included. Not looking forward to the massive chaos that's known as holiday travel. I'm prepared as best I can though - only carry-on luggage and printed out the boarding pass already. Next steps - figuring out how to get to the airport. Be scared. Be very very scared. Just pulled up CNN. Front page article -. The rush is on". Posted by KC at 1:14 PM. Tuesday, March 28, 2006. Days to go before I'm in Peru. Can't wait. Like I said, I can't wait. Posted by KC at 4:09 PM. Tuesday, March 14, 2006. I keep telling people that my next big trip will be here. But we'll see what happens. It'd be awesome if I actually followed through. Posted by KC at 5:06 PM. Wednesday, March 01, 2006. Interesting historical facts for March 1 -. 1692 - The Salem Witch Trials began. 1803 - Ohio was admitted as the 17th state. 1875 - Congress passed the Civil Rights Act.
