I want to say the funny words! This blog is my friend! Thursday, December 20, 2007. Don Gerund, P.I.-Tonight's Episode: Aye, The Fury. When I came to from the smack I took, I found myself in an old abandoned warehouse that was as dank and mildewy as Estelle Getty's lingerie drawer. I had been pounded like a scaloppine and trussed like a turkey to a folding chair. Not that turkeys get trussed to folding chairs. They just get trussed. And roasted. Vill you please schut up! Ve can all hear you! An inexpensi...

I want to say the funny words! This blog is my friend! Sunday, May 27, 2007. Shopping Mall of the Damned #2. You've got yourself settled in front of the tv, beer in one hand, other hand resting on your gut under your belt. You've got that relaxed slouch in your La-Z-Boy. Yup, you're ready for some baseball. But, wait, what is that you see? Relax, dear fan. This isn't the Charity Game for Tourette's, nor have they started mixing meth with the steriods. What you're seeing is t. DID YOU SAY FLAMES? Also, th...

Friday, September 23, 2011. The customer is not. That's something that some find hard to accept, given the popularity of that old axiom, but it's the truth. I prefer the phrase, "the customer is always to be respected." That allows a lot more latitude and potential for growth in your relationship with the customer- or in this case, the client. I want to say the funny words! This blog is my friend! Wednesday, November 7, 2007. Ask A Comic Book Character. I have a crazy friend who says that eating meat is wrong. She says that animals are our friends, and that killing them is cruel and immoral. She says we should eat plants because it is much healthier. I'm not sure what to think. What should I do? R Wiggim, Springfield. My Dear Mr. Wiggim,. Let me assure you, you have come to the right person to help you in your dilemma. Through the use of elect...

Wednesday, September 05, 2012. Today I feel like Tiger Woods. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a professional golfer- or any kind of professional athlete. Truth be told, I'm not very good at sports at all. (Enjoy the heck out of them, though.) But, nonetheless, today I am Tiger Woods. Just like Tiger Woods. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). http://pandabrett.blogspot.com/2012/08/comfort-zones.html
Wednesday, August 22, 2012. We all have them. Heaven knows that I have them. I cling to them steadfastly in times of crisis and moments of uncertainty. But lately I've been straying more and more away from them. Pushing myself and trying to find out what happens if I let go of those comfort zones and try something that I considered.frightening. They really aren't that frightening at all. In fact, I've learned more about myself and grown more since I started doing that than I have in years.

Saturday, March 07, 2009. This past week, the cancer came back. It reappeared this time as tumors in his brain. He flew out to Houston for treatment at the cancer center there yesterday. Today, I sit and worry about his health and well being. I know that he is strong, and I know that he has the courage to beat this, but I can't help but sit and wonder what he is going through.
