In 1887, the Lethbridge Curling Club became the first organized club in Alberta. Initially curlers had to supply their own stones and curling fees were $10.00 per season. We have come along way since then. We moved into the Civic Center in 1950 and our club has undergone many upgrades since then. As a result of these continued improvements, we have gained a reputation as one of the best Curling Clubs in Alberta.

They started with their first curling clinic mid October and are now playing on Saturday evenings when they take over the Ice Hut at 10pm. They have two draws, using two sheets of ice. First they have to freeze in the hacks, bring the rocks out of cold storage and then pebble the ice after the Zamboni has prepped the ice after hockey or public skating.
