Mein Reiseblog für 6 unvergessliche Monate. Zum sekundären Inhalt wechseln. Archiv für den Monat April 2012. Adiós Quito…y adiós Sudamérica…. Das Ende meiner Reise naht… ein komisches Gefuehl nach 6 Monaten. Einerseits koennte ich noch ein bisschen weiterreisen – es gibt hier einfach noch soviel zu sehen – aber andererseits freue ich mich auch auf zu Hause. Mein Reiseblog für 6 unvergessliche Monate. Mucho calor en Guayaquil. Nach meinem letzten Blogeintrag am Sonntag in Cuenca bin ich ein bisschen durch die Stadt gelaufen. Leider musste ich feststellen, dass sonntags wirklich ALLES geschlossen ist – die Museen, die meisten Restaurants, Cafes und Bars. Und als ich dann ein geoeffnetes Restaurant gefunden hatte, wurde ich sofort darauf hingewiesen (ohne gefragt zu haben), dass sonntags in Ecuador kein Alkohol verkauft wird! Fahrt durch den Cajas-Nationalpark.

Mein Reiseblog für 6 unvergessliche Monate. Im Reich der Inka: Machu Picchu. Ein weiteres Highlight meiner Reise liegt nun hinter mir: Machu Picchu! Die wohl beruehmteste Inka-Ruine der Welt ist wirklich sehr eindruecklich – hier gleich mal das typische Postkartenfoto (nicht ganz – ich bin ja auch noch mit drauf):😉. Machu Picchu im Morgennebel. 5 1/2 Stunden habe ich im Internetcafe gesessen (Ja, es dauert schon ne ganze Weile bis so ein Eintrag mit Bildern fertig ist…). Gaesschen im Viertel San Blas.

Am Dienstag (27.03.) habe ich mich zusammen mit Ricardo auf den Weg nach Vilcabamba gemacht. Vilcabamba ist ca. 40 km von Loja entfernt und die Menschen dort werden leicht 120 Jahre alt. Die Gegend ist wunderschoen – kein Wunder also, dass man da noch etwas laenger auf dieser Erde bleiben will! Hotel Jardin Escondido (mit Swimmingpool). Beim Mittagessen im Cafe Sambuca.
