Let's See the World. Monday, April 13, 2015. It has been almost 5 years since my diagnosis. 4 years and 4 months since my surgery. And just over 4 years since my radioactive iodine treatment. I had my annual bloodwork and sonogram last month and, as usual, everything came back great! My doctor was excited since once you hit the 5 year mark, chances of re-occurrence drastically decrease. So she decided we would go ahead with a fun little word to say: thyroglobulin. Again, I thank God for thyroglobulin!
