http://pennylegionfamily.blogspot.com/2015/08/happy-birthday-laine.html
Saturday, August 8, 2015. It's been a couple weeks now, but Laine turned 9 recently! Traditional cinnamon roll breakfast. Followed by opening presents (after church, since it was a Sunday). Notice the new magnetic earrings from Grammy. So cute! Next year she might get her ears pierced for real. We'll see. Happy birthday Laine - we love you! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Penny for your Thoughts: November 2014
http://pennylegionfamily.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Thursday, November 20, 2014. We had our first "big" snow the other day - almost 2 weeks before Thanksgiving! Even though it wasn't more than a few inches, the kids enjoyed getting out and playing in it. Sledding down our tiny hill, jumping on the trampoline, and throwing snowballs at one another. They had a great time! And then came inside and relaxed on the couch with daddy :-). So cool to see each of my kids learn to write (and later read). Thursday, November 13, 2014. Friday, November 7, 2014. The pat...

Penny for your Thoughts: September 2014
http://pennylegionfamily.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 28, 2014. A few highlights of our days lately. Enjoying some light-up toys I found on clearance,. First fire pit of the fall,. Ready for "International Talk-Like-A-Pirate Day" at school. And the obligatory "silly" picture that always follows! Sunday, September 21, 2014. Take Me Out to the Ballgame. The kids' school sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" this past week, so we all went together to watch the game and hang out. Laine and Mead enjoyed hanging out with their friends and teachers.

Footprints of Grace: Our Family
http://footprintsofgrace.blogspot.com/p/our-family.html
Following Jesus one step at a time. Our family began when we were married on January 29, 2005. It grew when Ayden was born (February 5, 2009) and exploded with energy when Judah was born (September 28, 2010). Jaymi does most of the writing on this blog. Luke chimes in here and there. Ayden and Judah work together to provide endless cute stories for Mama to write about. We're presently in the process of seeking God's plan for our future (you can go here. Footprints of Grace: How can this be?
http://footprintsofgrace.blogspot.com/2012/09/how-can-this-be.html
Following Jesus one step at a time. Friday, September 21, 2012. How can this be? I cried out to God. For food for my children. They ached and cried. They shrunk smaller and smaller. One by one, they lost the battle. Now they are all gone. I feel such betrayal. Healthy, happy, plump. I stand there shocked. How can this be? I cried out to God. For protection from my daddy. He still hits, criticizes, torments. Why won't anyone love me? God, take me away from this hell! I'm away from the hell. I see my Savior.

Footprints of Grace: June 2011
http://footprintsofgrace.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Following Jesus one step at a time. Friday, June 24, 2011. Ayden decided to have a few minutes of exceptional behavior this afternoon while we were out walking. This is in no way a normal occurrence, but it was filled with too many adorable moments for me to pass up an opportunity to record it. I immediately began praising him for obeying me and said, "what does God say about obeying Mama and Daddy? From our yard and proclaims, "MAMA! I got a flower for you! Posted by Footprints of Grace. Her: It is real...

Footprints of Grace: August 2011
http://footprintsofgrace.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Following Jesus one step at a time. Sunday, August 28, 2011. Judah's development recently is more than a FB status can handle; he needs an entire blog post! Today marks 11 months for the little guy. Meanwhile, he's been actively teething for a few weeks (without any visible results). A few days ago, I was feeling in his gums and all FOUR of his front teeth are just under the surface. I think he is trying for four first teeth at once, and it could be any day now. Not really expecting a reply). Immedia...

Footprints of Grace: July 2011
http://footprintsofgrace.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Following Jesus one step at a time. Monday, July 11, 2011. All the Children of the World. I'm supposed to be preparing right now for the Bible study that I will be leading in 2 days, but I just read this post. By a friend of mine and now I find myself unable to think about anything but all of the children in the world. Ya know, the ones that Jesus loves according to the Sunday School song. Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in His sight. What happens to these kids? How do we help? The two...

Friday, February 13, 2015. Playing in the Rain. We haven't had a lot of snow this winter, but we have had a lot of rain. The other day the kids just had to get out and play in it - they looked so cute, and they had a great time! Here's Cole and his best buddy at their Valentine's Day party. I told her mom that this could be their engagement picture - they're so cute! Tuesday, February 10, 2015. This year Laine was in a group that did "So Long Farewell" from The Sound of Music.
