Thoughts, feelings, style. Once in a lifetime. I’ve never been one of those women who couldn’t wait to have kids. Also I had developed a phobia of giving birth after seeing my mother deliver my brother when I was five years old, something that I conveniently blocked out of my memory. But as hard as it is being a mother, I am the one who should be grateful to you. Because since that Thursday morning in May that you came rushing into my life 24 years ago, even the darkest of my days has light.
