We are the Happy Hippies and this is a glimpse of our life. Gwenevere has turned 1. Saturday we went down to Portland to Celebrate Gwenevere's Birthday. I made her a bunny cake but didn't get it finished in time. Good thing there is next year. Papa helped blow the candle out but Gwenevere made a wish. She liked the idea of eating Cake with her hands. Reading the book Grandma Nicholas gave her. We forgot her high chair at home so she ate at the counter like a big girl. After the Walk we ate more cake.

You had settled down and had fallen asleep. You slept peacefully in your Papa's arms while we sang "I am a Child of God" and then Grandpa Thomas gave an opening prayer. Then Papa gave you a blessing. We are the Happy Hippies and this is a glimpse of our life. Monday, August 10, 2015. While James was inspecting our bees he got stung on the ear. Ouch. It started swelling so he decided to take some benadryl. This often leaves him passed out for several hours at a time. So before the medicine kicked in James washed all the dishes. July 9, 2015. In 18 days, 23 hours, and 21 minutes I will be boarding my flight from Boston to LAX to the beautiful Sydney.
