The next adventure for our little family in this journey we call life. October 31, 2014. What a difference a week makes! Monday, day one saw two excavators arrive and the footings finished. I’m too shy to get too close and take photos, but the number of people here just kept multiplying! We ended up with two machines, 7-8 utes every day and 10-12 workers, like a yard full of oompaloompas. No wonder they’re getting it up quick! End of day two the footings are finished. The next adventure for our little family in this journey we call life. September 28, 2013. The cabins are starting to look like something we could live in. Not too much more work to do now, then we start moving. Trying to fit a four bedroom house into two site sheds. Should be fun. We’ve got 12 days left. Measured the distance to the beaches today 1200m to the Bay Beach, and 1800m to the Beach, it’s going to be a hard life :o). This will be the kitchen area. We have a working door! September 20, 2013.
