Making of Hannah

Len creates an armature (A wire and wood structure to support the clay) roughly to the shape of the intended sculpture. Hannah is set to the correct pose and modifications are made to the armature. The first of the clay is added to the armature, starting with the back. Working visually from the model, more clay is added to the armature. Devil Woman

Was a commission from a guy called Alex. He provided me with drawings. Of the figure he wanted and came to the studio to check the clay and final figure then the make up. He was pleased to add Devil Woman to his 2,000,000 collection of Sci-Fi objects. Which includes 10 original Dr Who Dalecks, a copy of Alien and Predator used in the original films amongst many others. C) 2015 - Len Gifford.
