I spent the small hours of the night violently throwing up, shaking uncontrollably, gasping for air, shivering and sweating, feeling my brain swelling inside my skull and my body hurting in places I never thought could hurt. I’m not going to eat sweet potatoes for a long time. And this is about the only sad thing in my story. Sunday, June 2, 2013. I'm writing this on the eve of our last day of preschool. Ever. Tomorrow my second child, (aka: my last. Child), will "graduate" from the hallowed halls of early childhood education and wing her way into Kindergarten. After six years of one or both of my kids attending preschool, it's now almost over.
