Life Is Good.In Alaska! Tuesday, December 15, 2009. Once again, I've been lame.my bad! So here we go with the latest of what I have been up to as well as web albums to prove it! Upon arrival in Atlanta, I felt the humidity. Then I remembered that I didn't bring any deodorant as I have stopped wearing it! Thankfully, it was October and not August, although it still felt a bit on the warm side! I do hope that Dennis is feeling much better than when I left. Sometimes Alaska doesn't seem far enough away!

Life Is Good.In Alaska! Saturday, January 26, 2008. Well, I am finally living my dream. So many of you have listened to me talk about this beautiful place since my first trip in 2002.it was only a matter of time, right? I took the plunge in 2007.put the house up for sale and drove the 5,151 miles from Atlanta to Anchorage in July. What a trip! It all happened so fast and went so well. The 9-day drive was relaxing and awesome. It was the part I looked forward to the most in the entire process.

It was a steep and tough climb to the top of the mountain. Picking blueberries in Alaska is not the same as in Georgia. Bigger hike, smaller plants, and the amount berries is much smaller.
