Sunday, April 5, 2015. Sunday, April 05, 2015. Saturday, April 4, 2015. We had a wonderful day today! Evan and I went to the Natural History Museum (which he loves and has been asking to go to for weeks). Then Emma woke up from her nap to Evan and Grandma making a cake for Easter. We headed off to the beach after that. It was very windy, but Evan enjoyed running up and down the beach. Then we came back and colored Easter eggs. What a fun day! Not sure which one is scarier! But he's almost an osprey!

Monday, April 28, 2014. Visit to Grandma's house! We went to visit Grandma Nancy while Daddy was on his trip to see Jessie and Ian. We had lots of fun! There was the train store, the doughnut shop, the lighthouse, the lobster store, the playground, and even an Easter egg hunt! Easter Egg hunt at the playground! Evan might be the first kid who was actually excited to pose with the Easter bunny! Emma wasn't quite as enthusiastic. There's a reason why there isn't a picture of her. Fun with spinning chairs.

Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Emma sings the ABCs. The other day I walked by the bathroom and heard singing. Turns out that Emma had found the letter tiles we had stacked in there to clean them, and she was having a ball singing away and playing with the letters. Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Morning at the Farm. Evan's class took a field trip to Flamig Farm and I went along as a "helper"! It's a good thing a few of us parents volunteered, because getting a group of forty 3 and 4 year olds to pay attention and not wander off to some other coop/cage/pen is a challenge! Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Happy Birthday, Jess! Lovely Jess turns 19 today. Since I don't have any recent posed pictures of her, I'll post a collage of pics of her getting autographs from the actors in Fun Home. Which won the Tony Award for Best Musical. Sunday, March 29, 2015. This weekend Grandma Nancy came to visit and we had lots of fun! Auntie Erica, Uncle Mike, and the girls came over for dinner on Saturday (Evan and Emma LOVE when they visit). We went to the library and played outside. We had a great time! Evan likes to feed the toast crusts to the squirrels. We have a customer! Evan showing Emma how to play a game on her tablet. Since John had to work, I took the days off and planned a little adventure to the butterfly conservatory! Nearby to the butterfly place is the Yankee Candle store, which is awesome. Saturday, June 25, 2011. Mike was awarded a very prestigious award at work and was flown to Discover Card headquarters in Chicago (along with the other winners) to receive it.
