She loves them and how could I not post these pictures? Sucking in my cowgirl belly for the camera. Still sucking it in. Can't. breathe. OK, maybe I'll just get a better angle. On the tables were pictures of Granny through the years, this one is of her and Papa Joe, whom I never got to meet. Rented tents=big time party. I can teach my child!

First, this event occured prior to pumpkin carving and Halloween, and these pictures are in reverse order of how things played out. I have a gripe with blogger on how they do picture uploading. We found out last minute that the cabin that Burgess's work helps manage was available and found friends to join us for a great weekend! Trying to skip rocks!

I had this whole list of stuff to try and do while he was gone, and all I've done is a lot of childcare, housework, and dogcare. He's enjoying himself in the Lake Tahoe/Reno area skiing and going to a conference on the company tab. Bitter much, Lindsay? God is good to us, and we are happy for Spring to finally arrive!

If all goes as planned, one day I won't be changing diapers, driving kids to swim lessons, making pediatrician appointments, stressing about what age to buy my child a cell phone, or even filling out college financial aid applications. Seems like eons away. 45 minutes into a nap, telling him go ahead, wake up! You really don't need that last half of the nap! Mommy really didn't want to get anything else done today!
