http://gabbinggoats.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Another Round of Drinks! Friday, February 20, 2015. Well, make that our "snow week"! We ended up being out of school all week for the snowstorm that started on Monday night. King George ended up with 7-8 inches total, which means that buses can't run and kids can't wait at bus stops (when it's a balmy -2 degrees in the morning! We pushed Emily and Jason down on their snow discs, which the kids loved. These mittens are hard to manage! My mittens are wet and my hands are cold! My guys- Jay outlasted us all!

Sunday, June 19, 2011. It's been awhile since I have written on here! One of the things that has occurred since I last wrote was a big birthday party for my little one! Addie turned 4 on June 4th and one BIG party with one BIG slide! This was the first year that she had friends from school and of course all of the family had to be here as well. We ended up with a final count of 51 people! 20 of which was children! It was a beautiful day and great time to be had! Our 27ft. slide! Adam going down the slide!

Another Round of Drinks! Monday, July 27, 2015. H" is for Hernia! Well, what can I say? My stone never grows moss! Didn't take much to figure out that this was a hernia (both Carrie and Timmy had ones repaired when they were little). We got delayed until 8:45 AM but surgery only took an hour. Emily did great with the "going to sleep" part (they make the gas smell like bubble gum) and woke up in recovery with a puzzled look like "how did I get here? On the wagon ride to the operating room! Watching a movi...

Another Round of Drinks! Wednesday, July 23, 2014. Kickin' the Kitchen's Butt. Tim went to visit the granite yard on a rare day off, and he picked out this beautiful steel gray. We matched up some mosaic tile backsplash, which consisted of gray glass, frosted glass, marble, and quartz pieces. No joke, that tile backsplash took almost 2 weeks to install, from start to grouting. But it looks amazing! Close up of the new countertop. Saturday, July 19, 2014. Lining up for the "big performance". When you shak...

Another Round of Drinks! Saturday, August 30, 2014. But what to do with a harvest gold cast iron tub? And the finish is guaranteed for years as long as don't clean it with abrasive cleaners. We're almost done with this bathroom and then it will be break time around the Drinks' household! New toilet is going in tomorrow and the sink will be reconnected after that. School starts Tuesday, so we seem to have finished just in time. Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Stamp and sticker fun! Jason "petting" the baby.

Another Round of Drinks! Monday, June 16, 2014. Cake from Sugar Plum Bakery. Carrie, Cousin Kristen, Aunt Jill, and Mary Ann. Carrie and I with our old neighbor Eleanor (affectionately known as "EE") from Thoroughgood. We babysat her grandkids when they visited every summer, and now they are grown up and some even have kids! The most awesome Pinterest inspired fruit platter. The cornhole matches got fierce. I can't explain Carrie's face in this one, and I think she's gonna kill me for including it! Tim a...

Another Round of Drinks!: October 2014

Another Round of Drinks! Friday, October 31, 2014. We're off to the Pumpkin Patch! Emily's preschool class scheduled their first field trip, and as a mom who has finally built up some vacation time, I took off for the big day. As luck would have it, they ended up postponing the trip last minute because of torrential downpours, so I still got the day off to work on hats (score! They planned the trip for the next week and I put in for a sub again. This time, everything went off without a hitch! But Jason w...

Another Round of Drinks! Saturday, May 31, 2014. Jason: 19 Months Old. Jason's favorite food of all time is yogurt. He loves the yogurt smoothies and is very good at drinking them with a straw. He also loves fruit snacks, cheese sticks, apples, and mac and cheese. He still downs a million cups of apple juice/water and won't touch milk from a cup. Weight: 28 pounds (75th percentile). Height: 34 inches (90th percentile)- big surprise, considering his gene pool! Head circumference: 75th percentile. Garrett'...
