3, 2, 1, Feast! Be Fit and Feast. Wednesday, September 26, 2012. Greek Islands is a very authentic Greek restaurant in Greektown. Both the ambiance and the food are second to none, at least according to us. We went on a Friday night with a couple of friends, and had a great time tasting all of the amazing Greek fare the restaurant had to offer! 1) Grilled Octopus Appetizer (with balsamic and tomato slices). 2) Arni Fournou (baked lamb shank with sliced potatoes). 3) Keftedes (beef and lamb meatballs).
