Linux User and Web Designer. CentOS 7 Enterprise Challenge. CentOS 7 certainly reliable in the server space, but what about as a enterprise desktop? This week I took it for a roll and found it’s actually pretty good. I still need to run it through it’s pacesm there are certainly trade-offs for the price of stability. Linux User and Web Designer. Since I switched to Linux back in ’09 there have been few distributions focused on user experience. Keep it simple, stupid. Even GNU/Linux is getting heavier over time. Elementary OS hovers between 900mb and 1.2gb of ram usage. Still light enough for some old netbooks.
