Friday, June 12, 2015. Since spring has arrived, I have been given countless dandelion bouquets from my thoughtful students. I thanked them for their gift, then told them I loved dandelions more when they turned into "wish flowers." Tuesday, September 30, 2014. After we sketched our trees, we went inside and tried to make some leaf rubbings. Some students said they saw this before and even tried it before themselves. Thursday, March 26, 2015. Today was a super fun day in kindergarten! We invited parents to bring in one or two board games that they like to play at home with their family. There were four parent volunteers so we were able to play each board game for about 20 minutes. All the parents did a fantastic job of explaining the rules and working with the small groups. Everyone had such a great time taking turns, following the rules and celebrating when their friends won. Curious George Discovery Beach Game.

Friday, May 30, 2014. This week was Linwood's Spirit Week put on by our fantastic Parent Council. Each day we got to dress up to show our school spirit. Thursday, May 28, 2015. With the help of Mrs. Lowe’s students at Stevenson school, we have created our own Instagram Photo Challenge for the month of June. Every day the students are given a word that they have come up with and then our class will work together to represent that word in a photo and share it on Instagram.
