Lisa's Cycling Tour in Slovenia. Sunday, September 13, 2009. I spent a couple of days in a little village called Hrsavica ("little pear") near a medieval town called Stanjel. I was getting pretty worn out from riding, so the rest was welcome. My stay overlapped with a group of high school students from an arts school in Ljubljana. No bat guano, but there is an eyeless salamander that they call the "Human Fish", which I guess now lives mostly in an aquarium in the visitor center.
