Lisa Knits...and trys other crafty things too

Monday, February 14, 2011. Granny Squares - how I love you! Last summer, I crochet a HUGE granny square blanket for my older daughter, made with about 24 balls of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino yarn on a 3.25mm hook. It was time consuming, super duper fun and the results are spectacular if I do so say myself! I had alot of odds and ends of colours leftover so I made her a matching pillowcase:. Apparently I can't seem to get enough of crocheting granny squares, so here is the start of another one:. Unlike alot o...

Lisa Knits...and trys other crafty things too: Owl Vest - a gift -

http://lisaknits555.blogspot.com/2011/02/owl-vest-gift.html

Thursday, February 10, 2011. Owl Vest - a gift -. My younger daughter asked me to knit something for her teacher's soon to be born son, so I obliged:. This is the owl baby vest, a free pattern found HERE. Very simple pattern and extremely fast. This little vest gives the impression alot of work was required, but actually you can keep it your little secret - it is dead easy. I found the buttons at a small local fabric shop and am so happy they work so well. March 22, 2016 at 8:08 AM. A Friend to knit with.

Lisa Knits...and trys other crafty things too: Plain Ole Vanilla Socks

http://lisaknits555.blogspot.com/2011/02/plain-ole-vanilla-socks.html

Sunday, February 6, 2011. Plain Ole Vanilla Socks. I am on a finishing role people! Woo hoo.Another pair of socks are done - like dinner! I knit the first sock pretty quickly and then put them away, for about 3 years! I knit these socks using a pink/grey Austermann Step sock yarn that I bought, I think at the Maryland Wool and Sheep festival 3 to 4 years ago. I think. Doesn't matter, because now they are finished, pictures taken, uploaded to Ravelry and a blog post is done. Knitting Podcasts I LOVE.

Lisa Knits...and trys other crafty things too: Norie Hat

http://lisaknits555.blogspot.com/2011/01/norie-hat.html

Friday, January 7, 2011. I just finished the Norie hat from the Shetland Trader's first book. I used Berroco's Ultra Alpaca Light. Needles Size: 3.25mm. Purchased at: Needles in the Hay, Peterborough, Ontario. I am not sure if I like it, well on me anyway. It looks good from the side view and back view, but the full frontal view kind of distubes me.What do you think? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Knitting Podcasts I LOVE. I love to knit, but dabble in other crafty areas, not successfully, but I try!

Lisa Knits, Too

Lisa Knits, Too. Thursday, January 26, 2006. Koigu socks in progress. Here's a close up of the latest sock in progress. The color is a bit off, since the light today isn't all that great. I'm about an inch from the toe, so once I'm actually done with the entire sock I'll try to get a better photo. Posted by Lisa @ 3:37 PM. Wednesday, January 25, 2006. Yes, after an extremely long hiatus from the blogging world, I'm back. Posted by Lisa @ 11:34 PM. Sunday, May 29, 2005. So I was being not so bright when I...
