Yep My foot is screwed! The next day was the worst. The nerve block wore off and the pain came on pretty fast and hard. This lasted a couple hours but the oxycodone finally started to control it. The rest of that day was a lot of...I spent t...

Lisfrancenstein | Welcome to my Lisfranc blog. Breaking your foot is not cool.
Welcome to my Lisfranc blog. Breaking your foot is not cool. Getting screwed (The first surgery). Three days after I was finally diagnosed with a Lisfranc, I had the pleasure of being operated on. Yay. I was originally booked for surgery the next day, but the misdiagnosis had complicated the surgery and they required a lower-limb specialist. They told me that they were going to put in four screws, and they had to ‘scrape off the scar tissue’ that had already formed. My four new friends. I still couldn...

Lisfrancin murtuman konservatiivinen hoito
Lisfrancin murtuman konservatiivinen hoito. Kalliolaisen vegaanin toisenlainen kesä. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Kipsin poistamisesta on nyt muutamaan päivää alle kuukausi. Nilkka turpoaa valtavasti, pohjelihas oli kivikovana maitohapoilla pienenkin kulkemisen jälkeen, särkylääkkeitä kuluu, kädet kipeytyvät kepeillä kulkemisesta, jalkapöytää särkee. Iltaisin jalka sätkii kuin sähköiskuissa - lihakset opettelevat toimimaan. Huomenna on aika Soleukseen, ja ehkä vihdoinkin 10 päivän päästä saan tukipohjalli...
