I qualified as a Midwife in 1999 I then had two beautiful children and that's how my introduction to craniosacral therapy began. I had heard of the benefits of craniosacral therapy as a Midwife but experienced the benefits first hand when both my children had treatments, I was intrigued and in 2007 I qualified as a Craniosacral therapist. What to expect after a treatment:. After a treatment it is common to feel tired and a little “spacey” or “not quite with it”. It is wise to listen to your body at this time and try and give yourself some space to allow your body to adjust to the changes made during the treatment session. Going for a run immediately after a treatment is probably unwise and it is recommended that plenty of water is drunk to flush any toxins through your system.
