The Stowe Family: These Days
http://artsyfartsyang.blogspot.com/2012/05/these-days.html
Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Liam is great about wearing his bicycle helmet. He also likes to have his lawn mower tied onto the back of his bicycle so he can trail it around. His apron was on because he had been playing in his kitchen and he liked having it on. Makes for quite a special look, eh? He loves to help Daddy in the yard. He's a hard, hard worker. Here's the family at supper. Liam dressed as Batman (in his Batman PJs). These may be my favorite pictures by far! The gift that keeps on giving! May 1, 201...

The Stowe Family: My Truck is Bigger than Your Truck
http://artsyfartsyang.blogspot.com/2012/05/my-truck-is-bigger-than-your-truck.html
Tuesday, May 1, 2012. My Truck is Bigger than Your Truck. Last weekend, Bess flew into Birmingham from Denver to celebrate our Dad's 70th birthday. It was such a fun surprise (Dad had no idea she was coming). Her family, though, didn't all come. So, in order for them to join in on the festivities, we did a video call. Once the Happy Birthday's were said, Liam and Lawson (his 5 year old cousin) started showing each other their trucks. Modern day play dates? May 1, 2012 at 8:33 PM. Jake to Melanie in.

The Stowe Family: Little Julia - 1 year old!
http://artsyfartsyang.blogspot.com/2012/02/little-julia.html
Friday, April 6, 2012. Little Julia - 1 year old! Sweet Julia turned 1 on February 21! So hard to believe. She is an absolute doll and we are having so much fun with her. She will quickly let you know how she feels about something. She knows and lives by her routine. Everyone will know when it's 5:00pm because if she's not eating supper, she lets you know it's time. Even at school her teachers share that she's perfectly content and at 5:00 she starts her screaming. Bedtime is the same way, 6:...She will ...

The Stowe Family: Sweet and funny Liam
http://artsyfartsyang.blogspot.com/2012/02/sweet-and-funny-liam.html
Thursday, February 2, 2012. Sweet and funny Liam. We've learned that Liam does much better with separation from us (when we have to go to meetings or go see friends, etc) and changes in schedule when we have had ample time to discuss and prepare. This morning, he told me, "I missed you 3 times, last night Mommy." After school in the car, I commented on the sticker he had on his hand. He said, "Daddy gave me the sticker last night when you were gone. I was sad." I said, "You missed mommy? At night during ...

The Stowe Family: The Unexamined Life
http://artsyfartsyang.blogspot.com/2012/02/unexamined-life.html
Saturday, February 11, 2012. The Unexamined life is not worth living." Socrates. This quote has long been one of the defining quotes of who I have said I am. I still believe it. But, I rarely live it anymore. I used to describe myself as someone who over-thinks things, who gets lost in my head, who reflects on meaning and purpose. I have a hard time recognizing that person anymore. How many poops Julia had today (just 1, and it was completely contained.no blowout). There is a theme and my wheels are spin...

The Stowe Family: Don't Mess with These Kids
http://artsyfartsyang.blogspot.com/2012/05/dont-mess-wtih-these-kids.html
Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Don't Mess with These Kids. Okay, so would you mess with them? I wouldn't recommend it. This is Julia and her gangsta pal Lulu. I had missed that one in the Walgreens photos. The Stowe Family: 6 Weeks Old
http://artsyfartsyang.blogspot.com/2011/04/6-weeks-old.html
Thursday, April 7, 2011. Little Sister is 6 weeks old now - so hard to believe. She continues to grow and grow. She gets lots of love and attention from her big brother. She has started sneaking little smiles to us - and even a giggle now and then. Dr. Stacy says she is in her "happy place." I love it! She's really enjoying the activity mat, especially when the music is on and athe star that she can look at is blinking. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jake to Melanie in. Sojourns - fair trade.
