If we were to follow the Turing machine analogy, to say that the person in the box does not have “understanding” is to say that the read/write head in the Turing machine does not have “understanding”, a contention that is unrelated to Strong AI. Instead, proponents of Strong AI suggest that a Turing machine, considered in its entirety. Chinese Room understand Chinese?

If you go to the etc folder, you’ll see a keystore file and a jetty-ssl.xml file. Both of these are set with sensible default values. To enable SSL when you run jetty, use.
