The Vandevenders: BFF's
http://thevandevenders.blogspot.com/2012/06/bffs.html
Monday, June 11, 2012. Last week I took Rhett to my mom's to play with his friends (aka Rip, Deuce, and Hunter) I felt like something was missing. Rewind to November 1990. I'd just turned 5 and had been showing my mom's horse and my pony at little local shows. I guess my parents decided it was time for me to have a "big" horse of my own. They purchased Kens Class, aka "Fella" from Don, Maggie, and Drew Martin for the whopping price of $5000. Now, some of you are probably saying "$5000! Brought him out of...

The Lindleys: April 2015
http://joeyandkristinlindley.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 30, 2015. Barnes at ONE month. On April 18th, we celebrated ONE month with our BonusbabyBarnes! And what a sweet, blurry month it has been! Barnes has already owned his spot as the baby of the family, because this sweet boy is already spoiled rotten. He loves to be held or in the carrier. If mommy is holding me he's happy. This has proven to be difficult bc to I have two other small children. But we are working on putting him down :). Things about Barnes at ONE month:. He's also starting ...

The Lindleys: December 2014
http://joeyandkristinlindley.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Santa, I know him! I thought the pictures turned out great, and I love displaying all their Santa pictures throughout the year. Those matching plaid outfits made my heart smile! This year was the first year that Hudson (kind of ) understood "Santa's watching you" and we definitely pulled that saying out to our advantage. Actually it was more like "Do you want Santa to bring you a choo choo train? Mother of the year, right here! Joey and Kristin Lindley. Links to this post.

The Vandevenders: Our Week Out West
http://thevandevenders.blogspot.com/2012/08/our-week-out-west.html
Saturday, August 4, 2012. Our Week Out West. For our summer vacay this year Justin and I decided to head North for some relief from the heat and to visit my very favorite roomie, Abi, and her sweet husband, John. They live in Colorado Springs in the worlds cutest house literally on the side of a mountain. The next morning we got up early to make the 3 hour drive to Cheyenne, WY to the Cheyenne Frontier Days. Rodeo This rodeo has been on my bucket list for years. This was John and Abi's 1st ever rodeo!

The Vandevenders: Biting the Bullet
http://thevandevenders.blogspot.com/2011/08/biting-bullet.html
Wednesday, August 3, 2011. For those of you that know me, you already know most of this but for the ones that don't, here's a little background on our lives. Justin and I were high school sweethearts and dated for 9. Now, don't get me wrong, I love that boy more than words can describe. However, growing up with a sister and always living at home, with the exception of my years in the dorm with Abi (who was much neater and cleaner than I), I didn't realize how dirty and messy boys were! And after a fantas...

The Lindleys: Hudson's first fish
http://joeyandkristinlindley.blogspot.com/2015/07/hudsons-first-fish.html
Tuesday, July 21, 2015. So Hudson has been potty trained since last summer. I will say 3/4 potty trained.as he refused to poop in the potty. Yeah, I said poop. I refuse to use the term "bowel movement" that my mom keeps trying to push on me. I kind of gave up last fall when I was big pregnant and just couldn't do it. But after Barnes was born, I was sick of him asking for a pull up. When the boy can ask for pull up and say he needs to go, it is time! His first big fish! I LOVE this picture! Thanks for st...

The Vandevenders: So much to do...so little time....
http://thevandevenders.blogspot.com/2011/08/so-much-to-doso-little-time.html
Sunday, August 7, 2011. So much to do.so little time. It didn't really begin until March because, as you all know, Justin and I are obsessed with the Dixie National in its entirety so that pretty well took up our entire January and February. So, in March my sweet friend, Jessica, and I went to Natchez (aka our favorite place in the world) for the spring pilgrimage and the "girlfriends getaway" at Monmouth Plantation. Does it get better? So, after our relaxing weekend in Natchez, I worked Monday and Tuesd...

The Lindleys: January 2015
http://joeyandkristinlindley.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 5, 2015. Hudson has said two funny things in the last few days. He was being so sweet and pointing at my tummy, saying "Hey baby Barnes." I thought things had finally clicked and he understood (insert smug mommy smile). Then he pointed to my tummy again and said "hey horse" "hey cow" "hey chicken". He thinks there is an actual barn in there. Back to square one, I guess. Love this boy BIG! Posted using BlogPress from my iPhone. Joey and Kristin Lindley. Links to this post. I saw my husband...
