On the Silk Road - XinJiang. The Adventures of Peeps. It all started on 18th January and ended on the 17th February. During this time I managed to take:. 27 taxis for the total of 14 hours. 26 buses 35 hours. 6 flights 19 hours. 4 metros 5 hours. 3 trains 26 hours. 2 ferries 30 minuets. 1 gondola 30 minuets. My total travel time was 101 hours and I covered a distance of over 8779.32 miles. Now bearing in mind Shanghai to Manchester is a distance of 5687 miles,. I’d still have few thousand miles remaining!
