Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Yea, it's over! Posted by Sara C. Tuesday, October 21, 2008. I am definitely a summer person! As the weather gets colder, I'm really doing my best to keep a good attitude. So I decided to share some of my favorite things about autumn:. 1 Pumpkin Bars. My friend Carrie got me hooked on pumpkin bars many many years ago. In turn, I've gotten a lot of people hooked on them too! The recipe is super-easy and highly addictive. 2 tsp baking powder. 1 tsp baking soda. 15 oz can pumpkin.

They are getting so big, so fast. I sure missed having my little buddy around today. Seemed so strange to be home alone. The house was very quiet. Ginny kept me company though. :). Looking a little worried about first grade :(. Sunday, August 19, 2012. My favorite shot of the day! Beautiful 10 year old! Brandon took this one for me!

The Konchar Family Blog: November 2009
http://koncharmanyblessings.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 7, 2009. Friday morning we took a little day trip down to Colorado Springs to visit the very popular Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It was expensive ($14.25 per adult, $7.25 per kid under 12) and it was a haul (about an hour from our house, whereas the closer but lamer Denver Zoo is only a 20 minute drive) but it was. If you ever come to visit us here in Denver be prepared for us to drag you down to the zoo. See what I mean? There is a zoo worker selling giraffe crackers ($1 for a stack of thr...

Thursday, February 4, 2010. Our Little Furniture Models. Yesterday morning the twins and I headed out to Uncle Mark's work (American Furniture Warehouse) for a little photo shoot. Mark does the ads for AFW on line and in the paper and needed some kids to appear in the ads. Conveniently, both Josie and Jon are kids themselves and so it all worked out. The kids were pretty cooperative (rarely blinking at the wrong time) and they quickly adjusted to the schedule:. For the person who is being photographed:.

The Daland Family: The Hundred Dresses
http://thedalandfamily.blogspot.com/2012/07/hundred-dresses.html
Sunday, July 15, 2012. It tells the sweet yet simple story of a humble girl and the love of a dress. or a hundred. After we read, I let the girls sketch a favorite dress that they would love to wear.this summer my idea is to make one of their sketches. I think the best part about this little story is the lesson that can be learned. that no matter what we look like or what we wear or what we WISH we wore, we are all wonderful and talented and lovely.each in our own way:).
