Winter has been too long and too heartbreaking. View ...

Eggs McGeez: Happy Earth Day
http://eggsmcgeez.blogspot.com/2011/04/happy-earth-day.html
Musings on cooking, gardening, music and family in the Pacific Northwest. Friday, April 22, 2011. Now that I can finally go outside and soak up some of those honey rays from the sun, I'm unfortunately soaking up honey tea and theraflu. First cold of the 2010-2011 year and boy, it's a beast. Ah well. Good time to read, I suppose and rest. Save a bite of your spring cake for me, won't ya? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Oregon, United States. View my complete profile. http://eggsmcgeez.blogspot.com/2010/08/deer-attack.html
Musings on cooking, gardening, music and family in the Pacific Northwest. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. I knew this could happen. But it was just so heartbreaking. To return home from a vacation ( The Comforters. Beets and strawberries no more. See ya sweet peas! We love those critters, but not when they serve themselves indiscriminately. August 31, 2010 at 4:41 PM. Next year I will be planting more strategically. And buying one of those motion-activated sprinklers. September 1, 2010 at 8:57 AM.

Eggs McGeez: Nature Finds A Way
http://eggsmcgeez.blogspot.com/2010/07/nature-finds-way.html
Musings on cooking, gardening, music and family in the Pacific Northwest. Thursday, July 15, 2010. Nature Finds A Way. It is truly amazing that so much can come from so little. My first real veggie garden (not just a container garden) is doing really well despite the slow start (due to a very wet spring and major surgery) this year. It looks more like a late spring garden at this point, but I'm very pleased. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Oregon, United States. View my complete profile.

http://eggsmcgeez.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Musings on cooking, gardening, music and family in the Pacific Northwest. Monday, November 12, 2007. This is a recipe I put together last week and we loved it. It combines three Vitamin A (and C) packed veggies for a delicious light dinner, lunch or first course. Walrus waiting patiently at the top of the stairs for a sample! Fresh pack of Butternut Squash Ravioli (I LOVE Rising Moon Organics. 5-6 cups of baby spinach. 1 bag of frozen chopped sweet potatoes (bite size). 1/2 cup of veggie or chicken stock.
